Itinerary

Over six days, experience Chongqing’s urban marvels, Wulong’s geological wonders, and Zhangjiajie’s ethereal mountains—a perfect mix of culture, adventure, and nature.

Upon arrival, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy free time to rest or explore nearby attractions like Jiefangbei Square or Chaotianmen Pier for a first glimpse of the Yangtze River.

Visit the Three Gorges Museum to delve into regional history, then experience the Liziba Metro Station, where trains zoom through a residential building. Ascend to the “Eye in the Clouds” Observation Deck for sweeping city views, and end at Hongya Cave, a glowing riverside market.

Travel to Wulong Karst Park, a UNESCO site. Trek through the Three Natural Bridges, towering limestone arches featured in Transformers, and descend into the Longshuixia Gap, a lush, narrow canyon with cascading waterfalls.

Explore the Furong Cave, a subterranean wonderland of stalactites and underground rivers. After lunch, board a high-speed train to Zhangjiajie (4–5 hours), where you’ll check in and prepare for tomorrow’s mountain adventures.

Hike the Ten-mile Gallery, a scenic valley dotted with sandstone pillars, then ascend to Yuanjiajie, inspiration for Avatar’s Hallelujah Mountains. Continue to Tianzi Mountain for sunset views over a sea of misty peaks.

Ride the world’s longest cable car up Tianmen Mountain, walk the cliff-hugging West Line, and descend via the Transmountain Escalator. Stand beneath the Tianmen Cave, a colossal natural arch, before transferring to the airport for departure.
